Maintaining Your Refurbished Cabin Through Winter
Portable cabins cope well with British winters, and a little upkeep keeps them comfortable and in good condition.
Heat and ventilation
Keep the heating ticking over and ventilate now and then to reduce condensation. Warm, slightly ventilated cabins stay drier and more pleasant to work in.
Water and drainage
If the unit has plumbing, protect exposed pipes from freezing and keep drainage clear. In a hard frost, a little insulation around pipework goes a long way.
Outside checks
Clear gutters and check the roof and seals after storms. Catching small issues early keeps your refurbished cabin looking and performing its best for years.
