Refurbished units are worked on in our own Manchester workshops. That means we control the finish and can adapt units to exactly what our customers need — there's no reliance on outside contractors.
Services include colour changes, plumbing, electrical work, flooring and joinery. We can add partitions, kitchens, showers, sinks and toilets, plus heating and lighting, to turn a basic shell into a purpose-built space.
Kitchens are one of the things we are asked for most. A cabin kitchen means base and wall units, a worktop, a sink and drainer, a water heater, splashbacks, power, lighting and hard-wearing flooring — fitted into an office or welfare unit, built as a full canteen kitchen, or an existing one brought back to standard.
Washrooms are the other regular job. Anti-vandal washroom refurbishment, toilet refurbishment and changing room refurbishment all follow the same route: strip out the old sanitaryware and cubicles, repair the substrate, re-tank and re-seal the wet areas, fit new WCs, urinals, basins, cubicles and non-slip flooring, then test the plumbing and certify the electrics. Office washroom refurbishment on a unit you already own is quoted the same way — we collect it on our own transport, do the work and deliver it back.

What We Fit Out
Most units come to us as a shell or a tired fit-out. These are the spaces we build into them — on our own stock before it is listed, and on units our customers already own.
Showers
Shower trays and cubicles, electric or plumbed showers, curtain rails, extraction and non-slip flooring, with the wet areas re-tanked and re-sealed.

New WCs, urinals, basins and cubicles, the substrate repaired and sealed, and the plumbing and electrics tested and certified.

Hanging rails, hooks, bench seating, heating and hard-wearing flooring, so wet kit and workwear have somewhere to go at the end of a shift.

Refurbishment FAQs
What does refurbishment involve?
It depends on the unit and on what you want out of it. Work can include repairing or replacing panels and flooring, fitting a kitchen or a washroom, electrical testing and certification, refitting fixtures, and repainting to your chosen colour. Not every unit needs every stage — the quote sets out what we are doing to yours.
Can you fit a kitchen in a cabin?
Yes, kitchen fit-outs are regular work. A cabin kitchen means base and wall units, a worktop, a sink and drainer, a water heater, power, lighting and hard-wearing flooring. We put a kitchen area into an office or welfare unit, build a full canteen kitchen, or bring an existing one back to standard.
Can you reconfigure a cabin to my spec?
Yes. We add partitions, kitchens, toilets, showers, sinks, heating and lighting, and can combine functions such as office-plus-welfare or canteen-plus-washroom in a single unit.
Do you refurbish cabins I already own?
We can. We only take units in on our own transport, so we collect it from you, do the work at our Manchester workshop and deliver it back — the collection and return are quoted with the work.
Do you do washroom and toilet refurbishment?
Yes, and it is regular work. A washroom or toilet refurbishment means new sanitaryware, cubicles and non-slip flooring, the wet areas stripped back, re-tanked and re-sealed, and the plumbing and electrics tested and certified. Anti-vandal washrooms and container toilets are included.
Can you refurbish a changing room or drying room?
Yes. Changing room refurbishment covers new bench seating, hooks, hanging rails and locker fixings, hard-wearing flooring, repainting, and shower and toilet areas re-sealed and refitted where the unit has them. A drying room is the same shell fitted out for wet kit — rails, hooks and heating. Popular with sports clubs and site compounds bringing an older block back into use.
How long does a refurbishment take?
It varies with the unit and the scope. A repaint and light refit is a shorter job than a full washroom strip-out or a reconfiguration involving partitions and new services. We give you a date when we quote, and tell you if parts are the constraint.
