Second hand units are cleaned, repaired, electrically certified and repainted before delivery, and our HIAB team positions the building neatly on site. Two or more units can be linked to make a larger modular classroom. We deliver to schools and nurseries across England, Scotland and Wales.

Are the cabins heated?
Our refurbished units are supplied decorated and fitted with heaters — new heaters in most cases — so they are comfortable for year-round use. Insulation specification varies from unit to unit — ask us about a particular cabin and we will confirm what it has.
Can layouts be adapted for teaching?
Open plan units give a clear space you can lay out freely, and we can add partitions or a kitchenette during refurbishment.
Do we need planning permission for a portable classroom?
That depends on the site, how long the building will stay and the local authority. Temporary educational buildings often fall under permitted development or a temporary consent, but it is the school or setting that needs to confirm the position with its local planning authority before delivery.
